The Doubletree at Miami Airport will host Miami Dance Magic for 2013 and

beyond. We have reserved hotel space equal to what we have been used to

with the possibility to grow into the Miami Airport Convention Center connected

directly to the Doubletree.

Our attendees will enjoy lower costs in parking, a wide selection of food and

shopping within the premises and shuttles available to the airport and many

shops and restaurants close by. We have procured the same room rates as

previous years, so you will be able to enjoy the Magic at a similar or lower

cost!

WOW! Our 19th Annual Inn Key Awards Luncheon was the largest one yet! Raj Singh, Chairman of the Board, and our GMBHA Board of Directors would like to congratulate the 306 hotel employee nominees and the 22 winners. We would also like to congratulate the 43 hotel nominees and the 8 winners for the Hotel Achievement Awards. With over 950 in attendance to include over 60 hotels represented, the room was electric and tearful as we all celebrated the “heart of our hotels”… OUR EMPLOYEES…

The MizuCon 2012 anime convention is being on August 17-19 at the Miami Airport Convention Center where attendees can enjoy the sand, sun and their favorite anime pastime. In addition to our illustrious guests we will have Costuming Contests, Informative Panels, Video Gaming Rooms, Artist Alleys, Video Rooms showing the latest works from Japan, and late night programming including a dance!!! Convention pre registration and Hotel registration will soon be open! Please check back for updates and join our forum community to mingle with fellow Otaku!

MACC Welcomes World Trade Center Miami and Governor Scott

Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) hosted the World Trade Center Miami, a member of the World Trade Centers Association which is the preeminent global trade organization promoting two-way trade. There are over 300 World Trade Centers located in 94 countries with a total membership of 2 million corporate members and associates.

MIAMI, FL – June 14, 2012 – World Trade Center of Miami presented the “Florida’s International Achievement Award” for 2012 to Governor Rick Scott for his outstanding leadership and performance in enhancing two-way trade and tourism.

This will be the 27th year that the World Trade Center Miami has presented “Florida’s International Achievement Award” to outstanding executives and corporations that have done the most to advance Miami and Florida’s position as the “Trade and Logistics Capital of the Americas.”

Governor Rick Scott Governor Scott was welcomed by World Trade Center of Miami, Greater Miami Convention and Visitor Bureau, Port Authorities, along with Miami Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez. While in Miami, Governor Rick Scott and Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll are hosted the ”Breaking Down Barriers to International Trade” forum on June 14 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Terminal J. The forum addressed key federal regulatory and trade promotion issues.
